Getting here
By car :
Via Embrun, from the south of France
Take route RN94 toward Briançon;
stay on this road for about 17 kilometers. At the traffic
circle just below the fortifications at Montdauphin, the road
to Guillestre, Vars, and Risoul will be on your right, but
you will go straight ahead for about another 800 meters. Turn
right onto the road to Eygliers and Montdauphin Fort.
Stay on this (curvy) road for 2 kilometers, and then, when
you reach the top of the plateau, turn left onto the road
to Eygliers-Chef-Lieu.
Once you enter the village of Eygliers-Chef-Lieu, turn right
onto the road to La Font d’Eygliers, and then right
again at the Chapel of Saint-Jean-Baptiste (look for the sign
that says La Font).
Via Briançon, from northern France
and Italy
Take route RN94 toward Gap;
stay on this road for about 27 kilometers. After you pass
the village of Saint-Crépin on your left, continue
along route RN94 for another 3 kilometers, and turn left onto
the road to Eygliers and Montdauphin Fort.
Stay on this (curvy) road for 2 kilometers, and then, when
you reach the top of the plateau, turn left onto the road
to Eygliers-Chef-Lieu.
Once you enter the village of Eygliers-Chef-Lieu, turn right
onto the road to La Font d’Eygliers, and then right
again at the Chapel of Saint-Jean-Baptiste (look for the sign
that says La Font).
SNCF (French national railroad) stations: Montdauphin –
5 minutes from the guest house by car (service to Paris, Marseille,
Valence, Grenoble, Gap, and Briançon)
Grenoble (high-speed train service) – about 2 hours
from the guest house by car
Oulx (high-speed train service) in Italy (on the Paris-Turin
line) – about 1 ¼ hours from the guest house
