An out of the ordinary BnB in the Alps

La Maison du Guil is a truly atypical bed and breakfast in the French Hautes Alpes. A priory dating back to the 16thcentury, the house has been entirely renovated and is situated in the heart of the hamlet of la Font d’Eygliers, looking down on the valley of the Guil and the Durance rivers, a small distance north of the lake of Serre-Ponçon, in a quiet and calm setting, yet very close to the town of Guillestre, at the entrance of the Parc du Queyras.  Adjacent to the fortified village of Mont Dauphin, our house offers you a mixture of old materials with contemporary elementscomfort and charm. 4 spacious  BnB rooms and 2 comfortable  self catering appartments or  holiday homes

A boutique BnB ...

Spring is on its way, and will soon be followed by summer.  A multitude of flowers, and a magnificent light.  And plenty of activities to choose from.  Hiking in the Queyras or the Ecrins, a mountain bike trip or on of the famous alpine cols of the tour de France.  White water rafting on the Guil or the Durance of mountainbiking around our house or in the Queyras.  At the end of an exciting day in our mountains, why not enjoy the luxury feeling of a   sauna, or book a massage in your room?

You'll find more inspiration on things to do in summer on this page '  discover summer' or on our   blog.

At the end of an exciting day in the mountains, return to the calm and peacefullness of our hamlet, enjoy an aperitif on the terrace or next to the fire place, followed by dinner in table d'hôtes style, in our vaulted ceiling dining room.  An evening when we don't serve dinner, we'll be glad to advize you some nice restaurants in the area, or we’ll serve you a selection of local cheeses with some salad and bread.
